Frown lines

Here at the Hunar Clinic we offer a number of treatments to help reduce the appearance of frown lines and wrinkles.

All you face movements: squinting, raising eyebrows, frowning and concentrating are down to your face muscles moving and contracting. After several years, during your adult life, lines and wrinkles will start to form.

The main culprit of brow and frown lines and wrinkles is a reduction of two proteins responsible for our skin’s elasticity: elastin and collagen. The production of these proteins slows down as we age, making the skin less elastic. Our skin becomes less supple and able to spring back into place as quickly as it once did.

There are also other contributing factors, such as excessive sun exposure, smoking, pollution and a bad skincare routine.

The best way to prevent brow and frown lines is to protect your skin all year round from UV rays by using an SPF cream. Other things you can do to help prevent lines are to minimise your stress, stop smoking, keep hydrated and following a good skincare routine.

We are a leading clinic that carries out non-invasive or minimally invasive procedures and have experienced doctors available to advise on the best treatment for brow and frown lines based on your skin.

If you’re interested in finding out what the best treatments for your lines are, book a consultation to talk through your area of concern. We pride ourselves on our knowledge and expertise and are more than happy to offer our impartial advice on procedures.
