Tear trough

The tear trough is the area under your eye, between your lower eyelid and cheek. As we get older, this area can lose volume, and can often result in hollows and dark circles under the eyes.

Dermal fillers are used to treat the tear trough area as it:

  • Reduces lines and wrinkles
  • Adds volume and plumps the hollow area under the eyes
  • Reduces dark circles under the eyes
  • Rejuvenates tired eyes
  • Boosts collagen production and overall skin quality

The area under the eye (tear trough) is injected with a dermal filler to restore the lost volume as well as making the skin thicker. This in turn moisturises the area which improves the appearance of any dark circles.

To add softness and youth back to your eye area (tear trough) using dermal fillers you will need to book a consultation with Dr Prerna Mittal before the treatment to ensure this procedure is right for you. To find out more, book a consultation here.
