As skin ages it loses both its elasticity and collagen resulting in the skin becoming less supple with a loss of volume resulting in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles in the mid to lower half of the face. The hollowing of cheeks and the deepening of lines around the nose to the mouth and widening of the jaw can change the profile of the patient making them look tired and older than they might be.  This affects both men and women as both genders want to look younger and bring back the fullness and volume of youth into their face and body.

Dermal fillers are a non-invasive treatment that helps to turn back time by restoring the contours of your face by filling out fine lines and wrinkles, restoring volume to cheeks and lips and creating definition to your face and improving your profile resulting in a softer, more natural, smoother appearance.

We also offer a non-surgical full-face facelift and an 8-point facelift, both of which replicate the effects of a facelift without the downtime or the need for surgery.

The areas of the face and body that Hunar Clinic treats are:

The use of dermal fillers in men is gaining popularity to mainly restore lost volume and rejuvenate skin for a more youthful look. The most popular areas for treatment in men are tear trough, nasolabial folds, jawline and chin, mid face volume loss (8-point facelift) and skin rejuvenation (Profhilo).

*Patients experiences will vary dependent on age, lifestyle and medical history

If you’re interested in finding out about treatments using dermal fillers to reduce the signs of ageing and gain a smoother and more youthfull appearance then book a consultation to talk through your area(s) of concern with our highly qualified aesthetic doctor, Dr Mittal. We take your safety seriously and only use leading new generation temporary filler brands available in the market, including Boletero, Juvederm, and Botox to name a few.

Most treatments take around 30 minutes, including the initial consultation, but if you are having numbing cream applied before hand then this can add a further 15 – 30 minutes to your appointment. At Hunar Clinic we mark the face prior to treatment to ensure that we correctly administer the product into the areas agreed during the consultation.

You may feel some discomfort during the procedure so a local anaesthetic can be applied first or some dermal fillers are available with local anaesthetic (0.3% lidocaine) included for a more comfortable treatment.

We combine some treatments to give you the best results and this could be both dermal fillers and anti-wrinkle injections, such as a non-surgical facelift.

To maintain your ‘new fresher and smoother look’, you will need to visit the Clinic regularly, depending on the treatment you had. Dermal fillers can last up to 13 months but fade over time as they are only temporary and are absorbed back into the body as they are made of hyaluronic acid; a natural occurring substance in the body. If you decide not to continue with the treatments then the areas treated will return to virtually the way they were before you had any procedures.

Once the treatment is complete, you can leave the clinic straight away, with no downtime. You may experience mild swelling/soreness & bruising straight after procedure which is a normal reaction to injections, as well as itching and some tenderness, but this will all disappear within a maximum of 10 days. This will vary with patients.

It’s also advised to avoid strenuous exercise and excessive exposure to the sun following your treatment. Some dermal filler aftercare instructions recommend avoiding the use of makeup straight after treatment, but you can check with Dr Prerna Mittal if you can use makeup straight away to cover any redness.

Dr Prerna Mittal also recommends avoiding rubbing or touching the areas of injection for up to six hours after the treatment.

You will see results immediately but it can take up to 14 days for the dermal filler to integrate with the skins tissue to improve the shape, definition and smoothness, improve the elasticity and appearance of fine lines giving you the natural appearance that you are expecting.

Dr Prerna Mittal will discuss the options with you at your consultation as treatments vary according to the patient, the number of procedures you are having, the brand and how much is required.
